TSB invites you to join us for the 32nd annual Unity Conference, taking place on November 17-18, 2022 on campus at the Tennessee School for the Blind. After a couple of years off, we cannot wait to gather together again as a community of vision professionals for two days of networking and professional learning.
The theme for this year's Unity Conference is Onward in Excellence, and this was purposefully chosen to set the collective attitudes of all TVIs, COMS, and other individuals involved in the education of students who are blind. That is, in spite of the challenges of the last couple years and the constant changes happening in education more broadly, we are resolutely committed to providing our students with excellent instruction and supports.
Attendees can select from a variety of sessions (see tentative schedule) focused on best practices, tips, and ideas for teaching students with visual impairments and blindness. Two families-specific sessions are also planned for the morning of Friday 11/18 so spread the word to parents who may be interested!
